Pressure on to fix Glenhaven Rd intersection
The long-awaited installation of traffic signals on Glenhaven Rd and Old Northern Rd has inched a step closer, with $2.5 million to be set aside for the project in the next financial year.

RMS and The Hills Shire Council will contribute $4.5 million each to the joint project, with $2.5 million allocated in the council’s 2017-18 draft budget.

The project will include widening Old Northern Rd to four lanes through the intersection, relocating services, installing kerbs and gutters, and constructing traffic signals as part of a three-way intersection with Glenhaven Rd.
