I have just looked at this proposal (Jan. 2018) and realise we are way past the submission date but honestly why do developers/councils have to interfere in a residential area? I know the area being considered for these playing fields is currently zoned Rural but it is opposite a residential area in which people have made their homes in what used to be a quiet residential street – until the massive developments in the Kellyville area changed our lives forever. The current amount of traffic on Glenhaven Road will only increase dramatically so for no other reason than that we definitely do not need such a massive development. There is plenty of land close to this area which, one assumes, would have less impact on the daily lives of residents. Please, Hills Shire Council look elsewhere to build your sporting fields – we do not want or need any further development along Glenhaven Road.
