It’s been nearly 12 months since the Sydney City Central Planning Panel deferred a decision on the proposed development for a Place of Worship at 1 Larapinta Place Glenhaven. 

We can now advise that a date has been set for a public meeting with the Panel to again consider this application. One would think a meeting which would include no further clarification, justification or excuse from the applicant. 

We strongly encourage everyone to attend this next meeting.

Our position on the DA remains the same. This is an inappropriate development on a site not fit for purpose. It fails to meet the objectives of the RU6 transition zone in which the site is located.

How great has it been driving on Glenhaven Road? We are still all enjoying the lights and very grateful to our Councillors who worked so hard to get these up.
